Indigenous People

Under the Commonwealth definition: Indigenous people are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as an Aboriginal personal or a Torres Strait Islander; and/or are accepted as such by the community they live in or have lived in.

People with a Disability

People with a disability have a disability which is likely to last, or has already lasted for two or more years. This does not include people who use spectacles, contact lenses or other aids to fully correct their vision or hearing.

People of non-English speaking or cultural background

The main language spoken at home and migration to Australia are both taken into consideration when identifying staff of non-English speaking or cultural backgrounds.
