[Print-friendly version]
A Discrimination Contact Officer is usually the first point
of contact and information for staff and students involved in a complaint of
discrimination or harassment (eg race, gender, sexuality, or disability discrimination).
You may wish to speak to a Discrimination Contact Officer if you feel you
have experienced discrimination or harassment; if you think that a complaint
of discrimination or harassment has been made against you; or if you are a supervisor
or manager involved in conciliating a complaint.
There are Discrimination Contact Officers located at all QUT campuses. Some
Discrimination Contact Officers will be able to provide additional assistance
on specific issues, for example sexuality or race.
