QUT is committed to ensuring a harmonious, fair and just working and learning environment. To ensure this, staff and students have access to processes that allow for grievances, disputes, problems and complaints to be resolved appropriately.

In the event that a grievance occurs, QUT has a Grievance Resolution policy and procedures in place for handling incidences of discrimination, harassment, bullying and other incidences of work or study-related complaints. Fact sheets on key issues such as bullying and conciliation are also contained here.

This section provides staff and students with comprehensive information on QUT's grievance resolution policy and procedures. Discrimination Contact Officers are available to all staff and students to provide advice, information and support in relation to discrimination- and harassment-related incidences.

And the Ally Network is available for staff and students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex or queer. Ally Network members are trained to provide support and referral, and promote an inclusive university environment.
