Central to the infusion of equity principles within the University, is the
existence of a committee structure which embeds equity into the University's
decision-making process, and which provides advice and direction for the University
on key equity-related functions in support to the University's mission and goals
Equity Board
is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor and recommends and advises on equity issues. It has several sub-committees and working parties on Indigenous issues, Disability issues, Cultural Diversity and issues relating to students from low socio-economic backgrounds
In addition,
Faculty or Divisional Equity Committee.
also exist to focus on local intiatives and activities.
