In 2008 the Equity Section, in association with GALNet and the Ally Network, will be running a range of events around LGBTIQ issues. These will involve public lectures and Ally Network training (for all QUT staff and students) as well as specific activities for GALNet members and existing Ally members.
The aim is to increase awareness of LGBTIQ issues on campus and in the wider community, and to enhance the opportunities for participation on campus by staff and students who identify as LGBTIQ.

Pride Month
June 2008
Get involved in Pride Month activities in Brisbane. QUT will show its support to the LGBTIQ staff by marching in the annual Pride March. Join in! More details on this to come. Contact the Equity Section for more information.
