QUT endeavours to provide full and equal access to learning and research for people with a disability by providing a range of support services, and by improving our policies and practices to enhance equitable access for people with a disability.

These provisions are made under Equal Opportunity and Diversity Policy. The University's Disability Services provides for the needs of people with a disability.

QUT Disability Services is a located within the Equity Section, and has a separate site of maps, resources, information and contact to assist students with a disability, and to assist staff to deal appropriately with students with disabilities.

QUT has a Disability Action Plan aimed at managing the needs of students with a disability.

Supporting students with a disability - a guide for staff

The new web-based guide Supporting students with a disability - a guide for staff is the latest tool to assist staff in supporting students with a disability. This comprehensive guide is aimed at academic and professional staff who provide teaching and administrative support to students with a range of disabilities.
