The Equity Services Department has a suite of brochures, booklets and posters aimed at introducing equity-related issues to new staff and students, raising awareness, providing information on equity policies, and more in-depth publications aimed at assisting staff and students in their work and learning environments while at QUT.

	Working with diversity: A guide to inclusive language and presentation for staff and students [PDF] Language is not neutral. It reflects the values and knowledge of the people using it and can reinforce both negative and positive perceptions about other people. QUT staff and students are urged to use this guide as a starting point for developing their use of inclusive language and presentation in the work and study environment..
	Celebrating Diversity: Diversity and inclusiveness at events [PDF] Make your event inclusive of all QUT staff and students as well as external visitors with these good practice guidelines for inclusive event management.
	QUT Equity Scholarships Scheme information booklet [PDF] In 2009, QUT's Equity Scholarships Scheme won an ALTC (Australian Learning and Teaching Council Award). This Scheme is one of the largest scholarships programs in the country and supports the learning of thousands of low-income students each year. The Scheme is supported by the Learning Potential Fund. This booklet outlines the submission and describes the Scheme's positive impact on the lives of students.
	The new Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners has been written and designed to reflect all the Traditional Owners on whose land QUT now stands. Information about correct protocols for use of this acknowledgement and background information is included and is available as a wallet card and powerpoint presentation.
