QUT has a comprehensive networks of staff who are specifically trained to assist staff and students from equity target groups.

Below is information on the contact officer networks and their role at QUT.

Disability Advisors are available to both prospective and current students with a disability to ensure they have the appropriate accommodations in place in order to undertake study.

Discrimination Contact Officers
provide assistance to staff and students in the event of harassment or discrimination grieavances and provide advice and support on dealing with this issue. Discrimination Officers are available on all campuses.

Ally Network members provide information and support to staff and students who identify as lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, intersex or queer.

Low-income student contact officers provide assistance to students in financial hardship. They can provide advice on what scholarships, finanancial and welfare support is available to students within the relevant faculty.
